  1. Monism is another word to describe Hinduism, especially those who follow Advaita philosophy. Panentheism too, in which the ultimate reality is both transcendent and imminent.

  2. Hinduism just it story . And not sacrificing. The hindu granth only punish woman and ,poor people. The not save .

  3. Can someone help, please? I can’t understand why one would worship any of these gods, if the ultimate goal is to be united with Brahman? Why would they not focus on Brahman instead?

  4. 💖🎀🌷 Thank you soo much for sharing this fine video 💖🎀💖 I am lurning so much 💐🎀💝 Thank you 💐💖🎀 Blessings to you and your family 🌷🎀💖 love from Denmark 💖🎀🌷

  5. Excellent, short and nice, overview! Hinduism is not a religion, but A Way of Life! God, Shiva, Vishnu, Rama, Krishna, Brahma, Demigods, Demigoddesses, other Vedic authorized names, the Vedas, the Puranas, Bhagavad Gita, etc. could be considered some of the many paths to God Kingdom. Shree Bhagavan is so kind, whenever He noticed an individual soul is trying wholeheartedly to achieve His mercy, HE may reveals Himself in one of those Forms mentioned, Above!!! Bhagavad Gita is an excellent source

  6. Lord Jesus Christ told me to share this with you.
That love of an idol is Lust this is a sin and the wages for sin is death but God Jehovah Loves us so much that he gave us his only begotten son LORD JESUS CHRIST to pay the price death burial and Rose again the third day according to the scriptures in Isaiah53 in the Holy Bible king James versions red lettered.
God is love and he taught us how to God with all our mind heart soul and strength love your neighbours as u love yourself love your enemies so u won't have any enemies husbands love your own wives as I LORD JESUS CHRIST my bride wives loves and obey your own husbands as my sheep listens to me LORD God JESUS CHRIST children honour obey trust respect and love your parents as my church treat every one.
God is waiting for u to repent and believe in what LORD JESUS CHRIST has done .
    CHRIST JESUS is coming quickly.

  7. just like hindu have hundreds of god statues to represent gods qualities, muslims have 99 names of god to describe gods qualities. only difference is hindus need idols, and muslim need the quranic text….btw hindu scripture also say god has no image, just like islam. so there are many similartities, just like how hindus make 7 circles when getting married, muslims also do it, when in mecca, they have to make 7 circles around kabba, to make a special bond between you and god. i'm sure you will find many more similarities.

  8. The Devas are not 'God.' These are an etheric species, a "divine race" (Rig Veda X 64:14). They will pass with this universe (Devi Bhagavatam 1.7.27-50). 'God' is Brahman of whom it is said "There is one Supreme Ruler, the inmost Self of all beings, who makes His one form manifold" (Katha Upanishad 2.2.12).

  9. Most ancient Polytheism was syncretic. That's one of the strengths of Polytheism as a belief system that it can more easily tolerate other belief systems as the Gods of other people can just be seen as slightly different (perhaps slightly misinterpreted) version of their own Gods. The Greeks and Romans and Norse and pretty much all other Polytheistic religions did this all the time.

It's simultaneously it's greatest strength and it's greatest weakness how tolerant Polytheistic belief systems tend to be.

  10. Fascinating stuff! I would like to add that until recently Hinduism wasn't viewed as a single religion but just different variations of the "same/similar" culture around India. The beautiful thing is that it's syncretic, as you mentioned. A lot of people see India as one unified culture or many Indians see India as divided along religious lines, but the truth is that historically any old culture became part of contemporary culture of that time and any new culture and religion brought into the region was assimilated into the already existing culture. Of course there are exceptions to that and there have been conflicts… but compared to a lot of cultures India is a pretty good example of syncretism and assimilation of peoples and cultures. I personally believe that before colonialism and nationalism a lot more places on Earth would have been like that, but today India is one example that preserved that aspect really well.

  11. In sanatan dharma ,known as hindusim ,It is said that god is in every particle ,every atom ,thats why world is behind god particle .
I have read bible ,quran and veda ,bhagwata geeta ,When i say believe me hindusim is one true and reality

  12. Most Westerner try to define hinduism with crash course knowledge but end up distorting and degrading real aspects

  13. Most of Hindu gads are aspects of our mind and it's function told in the form of stories but truth is hidden only interested and lovable can explore the facts but it takes years and much openness to understand but it's a never ending process and keep changing our perspective but everyone are in this path

  14. We are part of the same good we are searching us outside we attain all our visuals but keep moving untill we find it inside us

  15. Hinduism is not just a religion, it's a way of life. And Hinduism is the most oldest religion on this planet

  16. Ultimately, it doesn't matter whether it is Shiva or Vishnu which one views as supreme. They are just Devas. The only God in Hinduism is Brahman. The reason we worship the Devas and view them as the Supreme Brahman, or Consciousness, is because it gives the unmanifested a more tangible form for us to perceive. That is the path recommended by the Isha Upanishad. It also says you can worship the unmanifested consciousness itself, but it is VERY difficult as the senses are unable to comprehend the unmanifested Brahman (Nirguna Brahman) because it is not of the material universe, and you may risk falling into nihilism by choosing this path.

The Devas are merely divine entities made of phosphorescent etheric energy. They are limited and bound to this material universe and are not permanent, like all of creation. In fact, the Rig Vedic people held Lord Indra as the Supreme being in their time, which is why much of the Rig Veda is dedicated to Him. So the specific creation story regarding the origin of our chosen "supreme deity" doesn't really matter, and there is no point fighting over it as the only God in Hinduism is Brahman, which is Consciousness.

  17. Well im connected to BRAHMAN through YOG and chanting OM.
I don't follow rituals and idol worship much.
Sound of Aum/Om and its vibration takes me away from this materialistic world.

  18. Yes Brahman is impersonal Absolute… Vishnu and his 10 Avatars are personalised Brahman… Christ was one of 10 Avatars of Vishnu, by saying in bible : Me and My Father, are One……

  19. I WAS WONDERING ABOUT REICARNATION I REALLY WANT T KNOW IF THIS IS A TRUE PART OF OUR LIFE. AND S I WAS STUDING THE MATTER ABOUT 25 MINUTES INTO MY STUDY I STOPPED FOR A STRETCH WHICH I DID ALMOST MAKING A FULL CIRCLE WHEN SUDDENLY THERE STOOD BEFORE A SMALL FRAMED MAN OR BOY THOUGH I GOT THE FEELING HE WAS A MAN HIS FACE A BEAUTIFUL BLUE HIS NECK,ARMS ETC ALL BLUE . HE WORE KNICKERS THAT BLOUSED AT THE KNEES ALSO SHIMMERING BLUE AND TRIMMED IN GOLD HIS SLIPPERS ALSO GOLD AND TURNED UP SLIGHTLY AT THE TOES……… FROM MY DESCRIPTION COULD YOU TELL ME WHO DID I SEE ? I THINK KRISHNA OR RAMA THANKS

  20. When ever the universe gas problems the god thru his way solved them. A good example is after having numbers 1 to 9. Humans cant go future. So the hindu way was solved by a point. Yes a dot. Smaller is point the bigger the zero.

  21. Actually I can now almost see how Christianity as we know it today is possibly the least mono-theistic religion going!

  22. Take Christianity for example. God can be in the form of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirt. Is that similar to Hinduism in that Brahman can take the form of Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma.

  23. The oldest and most interesting religion… Probably most difficult to understand as well… Gurus spend a lifetime still not getting the whole way through

  24. They are not their wives, they are just female version of bramha Vishnu and shiva. And bramha, Vishnu and Mahesh is same God different Roop

  25. In Hinduism these all were great Shiva Vishnu and Brahma, may be these were prophets as there were 1 lac 24 thousands of prophets in Islam but only 25 were mentioned in Holly Quran. But these three were not God but humans with special powers given by Allah/God/Ishver. But Islam teaches us only one God who controls everything, if there were many god all will fight each other.

  26. Saraswati is my favourite – the . It’s weird I don’t believe in god (ie I’m an atheist) but I feel when I pray to her, it feels like I’m praying to the knowledge and music of 5000yrs of my ancestors and my civilisation. I love being a Hindu atheist – you don’t have to believe in god because each person’s way of relating to the universe is different. For me it’s science, to another it may be god, to others it may be something they can’t explain. We are all one ❤️

  27. Ok a name of Khan (muslim) talking abt Hinduism you expect there to be less enthusiasm talking abt Hinduism or any other religion, and very less understanding of religions like hinduism, but thanks for trying, you are good to atleast keep it in terms of the stories & myths & culture, & not your opinions!!

  28. Aum energy created everything which is part of Shiva. Shiva is his own son and his own Grandparent. He has no start nor any end. He created everything and even himself.

Basically like a scientist who created everything and want to see it closely

  29. Brother just make a correction..it is forbidden to build temples and pray Lord Brahma…from the Vishnu and Shiva Puranas, they tell us that, Lord Brahma married goddess Saraswati , his own daughter and that angered Lord Vishnu and Shiva and they cursed Lord Brahma that he would be considered as a god but no longer will be worshipped..that is the reason u don't find lord Brahma's temple or any Mantra or shlokas for lord Brahma

  30. YajurVeda – one of the 4 Vedas tells that there is only one supreme God (but not 1 demigod though) and that supreme God is formless (Islam copied this) ..that supreme God is none other than lord Vishnu ..he is said formless not coz he doesn't have any form but becoz he can take the form of any living being

Bhagawad Geeta written by lord Krishna himself..lord Krishna is the 8th avatar of lord Vishnu

  31. There are 33 demi gods as said in Vedas and Brihadaranyaka upanishad..but there is only one supreme God that is lord Vishnu

  32. Hindus never talk about God
    We talk about
    Param atma (Supreme Energy)
    Param tatva (Supreme Matter)
    Both rank is equal
    Energy = matter
    E = M
    After sun formation
    E = MC ^Square

    Brahma+ve
    Vishnu=
    Shiva-ve
    Are principles not person

    Proton+ve
    Neutron=
    Electron-ve

    Shiva is destroyer
    Shivling is his symbol
    Black hole
Only hindus describe destroyer energy in the world

  33. I’m becoming more and more interested in Hinduism. It makes a lot of sense and really aligns with what I’ve always believed.

  34. things you're missing:

time periods, families honored, geographical stagnancy, public works, foreign influence.

Corporealize. Actually work and integrate or go back to India… and stay.

  35. According to Hinduism God is only one the supreme Brahman (om ) all pervading pure consciousness and the trinities Brahma, Vishnu and Siva are inarnations (devathas) of supreme God Brahman (om).

  36. 1) Hinduism don't have the famous Trinity (yeah i know many say this but its not correct) but their is something like 3+1 (you may assume it as edges of triangle with area inside it) They are— Shiva Vishnu Brahman plus Shakti. They stad for the aspect of universe which creates preserves operates and destroyes and you know what that is Atom (or atomic particles) Brahma—>Electron Vishnu—-> Proton Shiva—->Neutron Shakti—> Enery inside the atom with neutron(shiva)/nuclear energy. I can elaborate but if you are interested find it yourself how they all 4 co-exist.
Brahma is attatched to Vishnu and quite very smaller than him while Shive is of quite same size of Vishnu and exist behind him as his as shadow and Shakti exist with Shiva.
2)In hindu texts you may find—-
    God is Truth
    Truth is Reality
Reality is Nothing if you. reverse this sequence you get
    God is Nothing
